Directions
The lodge is just 3 miles (4.8 km), or 5 minutes from the main airport. It is also 1 mile (1.6 km) from the M11 motorway (junction 8), as well as the airport south boundary and long-stay car parks.
By Car:
- From the M11 (junction 8), exit via the B1256 to Takeley (formerly the A120).
- Turn right onto the lane opposite the Esso garage towards Great Hallingbury.
- On this lane you will travel for 1.6 km (one mile). Halfway on the left is the slightly obscured Hop Poles Pub.
- Continue past to the tight right-hand bend and the flint house opposite.
- Continue through the bend and look on your left for the 3rd house, coloured yellow.
- Do not pass The Grove.
By Bus:
The VL-7 bus service departs Stansted Airport bus station every hour until 18:45, no Sunday service. Get off the bus at Start Hill Esso garage, then a walk along the village lane for 1 mile (1.6 km) and follow the appropriate directions listed above.

Cancellation Policy
- If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 20 percent of all nights will be charged.
- If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
